Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
And he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
This is engraved on my watch to remind me that cutting a straight path is God's job. My job is to trust him.
Christians make decisions by trusting God and walking the path laid before them. We have to keep in touch with God through his word and prayer so we can know him and we have to keep moving forward.
Trust in the wisdom of Proverbs, the promises of Matthew 6, and the comfort of Romans 8 – and decide. Trust God and proceed.
