Good thoughts Rebecca. I just remembered that the Bible says of Him when He was young: "He grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men." So He must have lacked wisdom in the same way He must have lacked physical, intellectual, and emotional maturity. Strange to think about…
Hmmm…interesting question. I think we usually kind of assume that Jesus did everything "right" because he without sin (translating without sin to perfect in our minds). But does that mean that every decision he ever made was the smartest decision, that he was never foolish? Even something trivial like skipping breakfast or staying up late when he had to get up early the next morning…being human, couldn’t he make mistakes that aren’t sinful and bear the natural human consequences of that (being hungry, tired, even irritated- thus knowing how these challenge us)?
