Ezekiel 22:12
Maybe all the tension I'm feeling right now is designed to remind me that God is God. He is the God of my life, my marriage, my family, and my church.
His passion erupts in Ezekiel because His people have forgotten Him. His reminders seem deeply harsh. Even ugly. I guess the severity of the correction matches the severity of the sin. Hence the ugliness of the cross.
Thank God Jesus took my deeply harsh and ugly punishment. Now, to remember that God is God.
