A fringe benefit of wisdom and understanding:
Say to wisdom, "You are my sister,"
And call understanding your intimate friend;
That they may keep you from an adulterous,
From the foreigner who flatters with her words.

A young man can protect himself by growing very close to wisdom and understanding. You wouldn't turn your back on your own sister and close friend for some girl would you?
I need to encourage the guys in my youth group to pop some proverb pills every morning…
