I've been turned in to the Muscular Dystrophy Association's "Lock Up" fundraiser. I'll be locked up on April 21 for an hour. My bail is $3,000 and it all goes to care for those with Muscular Dystrophy (DMD):
It primarily effects boys, weakening their muscles over time, usually taking their ability to walk between the ages of 8 and 12. By their late teens most will have lost their upper body strength and the ability to move their arms. It also effects the heart and lungs, causing most young men with DMD to die before their 21st birthday.
Imagining my little three-year-old Elias losing his ability to run and play and dance (he dances a lot…) breaks my heart. So, I'm participating and asking you to give. $50. $25. $10. $5. Every little bit helps. I know we're all tight right now; but please consider it.
If you want to give, here's your options:
1. Donate online through the DMA website: https://www.joinmda.org/matthews2010/matthewbroadway/
2. Give me a check made out to 'Muscular Dystrophy Association':
11100 Arlington Church Road
Charlotte, NC 28227
3. Call me with your credit card info:

Thanks for reading and considering this. Have a great day. Take a walk outside and hug your loved-ones.
