Read Ezekiel 31. Assyria was a towering cedar and God allowed sapling people to bring it down. God is sovereign over the rise and fall of nations. We can take comfort in this and trust him for our country's destiny. America will continue to be mighty. Or it will crumble. Only God knows.
Be grateful for this beautiful cedar. Protect and care for it; but place your hope and security in the Forester.
